dilemma

You ever want to share a story on your blog about someone, but you can't remember if you ever told that person you had a blog (and gave them the website), or if they even read it?

Yeah, me too.

(oh, to tell or not to tell...)

This happens to me all.the.time. And you can't go by who has commented because you know there are tons of people who read and don't comment. I'm sometimes tempted to bitch about my dad and take the chance he won't see it, but I just know that would be one of the few times he checks it each year. Karma hates me like that.

Use an alias. I've done that. Few people know about my blog and I have only used their real name with their permission.

Hey, are you doing NaNo next month?

Even with an alias, it's pretty easy to figure out.

I don't want to make this sound like the biggest story on the planet, just a few things that happened and were said that I would like to share.

As for NaNo...I hadn't remembered it was last month. I SHOULD do it, as I enjoy making unrealistic goals and then failing to meet them. I'm masochistic that way.

Actually, Yes! I have a sister-in-law that doesn't care too much for me and you can only imagine the stories I could tell :-) Anyway, do tell, if you feel comfortable!

Very simply bring it up casually in conversation one day--"i have the funniest story, did you read it on my blog?". If they say no, then tell the person you'll send them the link and dont follow through.

p.s. hope it isn't me!
