One Extra For Dinner
The other night I had a client dinner at Carmine's Restaurant in New York City.
We were a loud, boisterous crowd of 24.

never seen a peapod with legs before!
the manager totally freaked, but then came back and told us he'd take $50 off our bill. considering we were dropping about $2500 for dinner, it wasn't a very impressive offer.
Maybe you guys are all just totally uncool, not realizing that this is a rare and expensive delicacy? And you want to be on the Food Network? ;-)
Dinner should have been FREE!!!
OMG OMG OMFG. I would have spewed everywhere. That is disgusting. How is he still sitting there!? I would have been so far away from that thing...UGH! Please please please tell me you all got your dinner free!
